KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Architectural Design & Sustainability Integration

• Prepare architectural designs across concept, schematic, design development, and execution stages with a strong sustainability focus.
• Integrate passive design principles such as orientation, shading, daylighting, ventilation, and thermal performance.
• Coordinate architectural planning to support energy efficiency, water efficiency, and low‑carbon design strategies.
• Work closely with sustainability, MEP, and landscape teams to ensure integrated design outcomes.

Design Coordination & Project Delivery

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams for seamless design delivery.
• Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews to ensure constructability and performance alignment.
• Coordinate with liaison teams for statutory approvals and sustainability documentation.
• Review architectural drawings and details for quality, compliance, and design intent at various project stages.

Codes, Standards & Compliance

• Ensure designs comply with:
• Local DCR / Development Control Regulations
• National Building Code (NBC)
• Relevant sustainability guidelines and best practices
• Support documentation for green building certifications (IGBC, GRIHA, LEED – as applicable).

Documentation & Communication

• Prepare design reports, narratives, and technical presentations.
• Present architectural and sustainability concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing drawings, details, and model outputs aligned with Ecofirst quality standards.

Technology & Digital Design

• Develop and manage architectural drawings and models using:
• AutoCAD
• Revit (BIM)
• SketchUp
• Support design visualization using rendering tools where required.
• Ensure drawing accuracy, coordination, and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
