KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

MEP Services Design

• Design and develop HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems in line with project requirements.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations, including:
  • HVAC load calculations using HAP / IES
  • Ventilation calculations
  • Plumbing water demand and storage tank capacity calculations
  • Fire protection tank sizing
  • Pump head and capacity calculations
• Prepare system layouts, schematics, design reports, and technical documentation at various project stages.

Codes, Standards & Compliance

• Ensure all designs comply with:
• IS Codes
• National Building Code (NBC)
• NFPA Standards
• CFO / Fire Authority requirements
• Applicable local by-laws and statutory regulations
• Support authority submissions, approvals, and compliance documentation

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Perform a client-facing role, leading technical discussions and design presentations.
• Manage and lead client interaction for technical delivery, ensuring design intent and expectations are met.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and internal teams for integrated and clash-free design solutions.

Documentation & Communication

• Prepare design reports, calculation reports, and technical narratives.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations for client reviews and coordination meetings.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills throughout the project lifecycle.

Drafting & BIM Coordination

• Review and coordinate drawings/models to ensure accuracy, compliance, and constructability.
