Purpose & Scope of Position

Experience

1. Preparing and review of feasibility reports, detailed project reports, concept notes, design basis reports for different systems like Coal/Lignite Handling System, Ash Handling System, Limestone handling system, Gypsum handling system, pneumatic conveying system, Petcoke handling system, Compressed air system, Cranes and hoists packages, Mill reject handling system, Workshop equipment.
2. Participating in process design reviews and be effective in getting approval for the conceptual design, basic designs and detailed engineering deliverables.
3. Shall be able to do basic design of the plants mentioned including technology selection, techno economic comparisons. Shall be able to perform basic design calculations of MH systems, Preparation of system description, operation& control philosophy, erection & commissioning manual for the above systems
4. Shall be experienced in detail engineering related activities for equipment/systems like wagon unloading, stacking and reclaiming, crushing and screening, dust suppression and extraction, pneumatic conveying, Limestone milling and conveying, High concentration slurry disposal, compressed air distribution, etc.
5. Shall be able to Prepare procurement specification, technical bid evaluation, vendor document review and vendor coordination for the above mentioned systems and sub-systems.
6. Shall Prepare Layouts for Coal handling, Ash handling, Limestone and gypsum handling system, Compressed air distribution system, etc.
7. Shall possess working knowledge on 3D review using Navis Works and shall be able to review the 3D file from material handling system perspective.
8. The candidate shall be aware of the relevant Indian and international codes for the above systems & equipment and latest environmental regulations.
9. Candidate shall seamlessly coordinate & furnish process inputs required for Electrical, civil & structural, instrumentation& control, piping disciplines.

Qualification

Graduate / Postgraduate in Mechanical engineering

The candidate should be able to lead the Material handling team for the projects / work independently and shall carry out client interactions in coordination with project team.

Mentor and guide young engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Ensure effective teamwork and collaboration, maintaining a positive and productive work environment

Ensure the quality of project documents and deliverables, maintaining high standards of accuracy and completeness

Candidate shall possess quick learning skills, positive attitude, apart from technical skills.
