Purpose & Scope of Position

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for analyzing procurement data and market trends to support the strategic sourcing and purchasing decisions for engineering and construction projects. This role involves working closely with procurement teams and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement analysis or a related field, preferably in the EPCM industry • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SAP)

Qualification

• Postgraduate or graduate in an engineering discipline • Related training in Contracts/Legal as well as general project and management related training

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Handled End to End Procurement of entire Project (mainly Oil & Gas/ Power / Renewable Energy).
  • Have experience in EPC/EPCM/PMC
  • Team size managed should be min. 8 which should comprise of Buyers, Expeditors, Logistics & Inspection.
  • Handled the Buying, expediting, Logistics and Inspection of the entire Project.
  • Have interacted and handled Clients effectively.
  • Have knowledge on Vendor data base, supplier management, expert in Commercial terms & conditions, Project specific Procurement Plans , negotiation skills, mechanism for monitoring pre and post order activities.
  • Possess strong leadership qualities.
