Purpose & Scope of Position

The Draftsman (Piping/Civil/Electrical/Instrumentation/Process) is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining accurate engineering drawings and related documentation using AutoCAD, MicroStation, SP PID, and other drafting tools in accordance with project requirements, industry codes, client specifications, and drafting standards. The role involves converting engineering mark-ups, sketches, and design inputs into detailed 2D drawings, supporting drawing and report extraction, coordinating with engineering and project teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery of project deliverables, mentoring junior draftsmen when required, and contributing to continuous improvement through the adoption of new technologies and best drafting practices, including exposure to 3D design platforms.
