Purpose & Scope of Position

The Project Engineer (PE) will be part of an engineering stream providing engineering services to large and small projects. The PE provides support to the Project Manager (PM) and Engineering Manager (EM) and is responsible for supervising a team of working engineer and designers. The PE provides leadership and assists in the resolution of all technical issues related to the discipline.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in relevant design discipline • Experience in engineering and package coordination

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)

Design Management

  • Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed architectural designs.
  • Review architectural layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
  • Ensure design intent is maintained throughout project development.
  • Optimize designs for functionality, aesthetics, cost, and constructability.

Design Review & Coordination

  • Review architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape drawings for coordination.
  • Identify design conflicts and provide practical solutions.
  • Conduct interdisciplinary design review meetings and track closure of observations.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire and safety regulations, and statutory requirements.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical guidance to design teams and consultants.
  • Review material specifications and technical submissions.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards and best practices.
  • Support value engineering and design optimization initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
  • Present design concepts and review outcomes to project stakeholders.
  • Support approvals, permits, and regulatory submissions.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct quality audits of design documentation.
  • Monitor design changes and maintain revision records.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and construction methodologies.
  • Expertise in design review and drawing coordination.
  • Excellent understanding of NBC, local authority regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
