Purpose & Scope of Position

The Project Engineer (PE) will be part of an engineering stream providing engineering services to large and small projects. The PE provides support to the Project Manager (PM) and Engineering Manager (EM) and is responsible for supervising a team of working engineer and designers. The PE provides leadership and assists in the resolution of all technical issues related to the discipline.The Project Engineer (PE) will be part of an engineering stream providing engineering services to large and small projects. Experience

BE Civil with 11-14 years of experience. ME in Structural Engineering will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and deliver civil & structural engineering design for thermal power plants including layouts (BTG, BOP, coal handling, ash handling, chimneys, cooling towers, water systems, etc.).
2. Prepare, review, and finalize design calculations, design basis reports, drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates.
3. Provide technical leadership and guidance to design engineers and CAD teams.
4. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and project management teams for integrated engineering deliverables.
5. Review and approve vendor drawings, construction drawings, and engineering documents.
6. Ensure compliance with Indian & international codes (IS, ACI, BS, AISC, Eurocodes, etc.).
7. Support bid engineering, proposals, and cost estimations for new business opportunities.
8. Provide technical support during project execution, site queries, and construction activities.
9. Ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs within budgeted man-hours and quality standards.
10. Drive innovation in design practices, optimization of materials, and use of modern design tools/software.
11. Mentor and develop junior engineers in the team.
