Location: Dahej, Gujarat

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to support the execution and management of large-scale industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil and structural engineering activities, ensuring construction quality, adherence to project schedules, safety compliance, and coordination with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review civil and structural engineering drawings, designs, and technical specifications.
  • Supervise construction activities related to foundations, buildings, equipment foundations, pipe racks, roads, drains, and other infrastructure works.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Project Management.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Review construction methodologies, material submittals, and work schedules.
  • Resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
  • Track project progress and prepare periodic reports on civil construction activities.
  • Support pre-commissioning and project handover activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering for industrial projects.
  • Experience in construction and execution of process plants, chemical plants, petrochemical facilities, refineries, or manufacturing units.
  • Familiarity with RCC, structural steel, industrial foundations, and infrastructure works.
  • Knowledge of relevant IS Codes and international engineering standards.
  • Ability to review engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
  • Strong project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in EPC/PMC project environments.
  • Exposure to greenfield and brownfield industrial projects.
  • Experience in site supervision, quality control, and contractor management.
  • Knowledge of construction planning and project scheduling.

Candidate Profile

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in industrial project construction and execution.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering practices, construction methodologies, and safety standards.
  • Willingness to work at the project site in Dahej, Gujarat.
