Key Responsibilities

Job Role : Civil Engineer

Location: Gadchiroli, Maharashtra
Experience: 8 to 12 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Industry: Industrial Projects / Construction Management Services (PMC)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure execution of civil works as per approved drawings, specifications, project standards, and construction schedules.
• Review and verify contractor work progress, quantities, and quality of executed works.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, QA/QC, contracts, and site execution teams for smooth project delivery.
• Monitor construction activities related to:
  • Earthwork and grading
  • Foundations and structural concrete works
  • Industrial buildings and utility structures
  • Roads, drains, and associated infrastructure
  • Steel and RCC structural works
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Review construction methodologies, technical submittals, and work procedures.
• Track project progress and support preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Identify construction risks, bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and safe construction practices.
• Coordinate with contractors for timely completion of project milestones.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 to 12 years of experience in civil construction of industrial, mining, metal, power, infrastructure, or large EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and site execution practices.
• Experience in managing contractors and monitoring project progress.
• Familiarity with RCC structures, steel structures, foundations, industrial buildings, and infrastructure works.
• Ability to review engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in project documentation, reporting, and progress monitoring.
• Good understanding of quality assurance and quality control practices in construction projects.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
