About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee contract administration and commercial compliance for a large-scale project in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. The role requires a professional with strong expertise in contract management, contractor coordination, dispute resolution, and project commercial governance within industrial, mining, steel, or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and administer the prime contracts of all major contractors engaged in the project.
  • Review, interpret, and explain contractual obligations, terms, and commitments to project stakeholders and contractor personnel.
  • Resolve contractual ambiguities and provide guidance to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
  • Ensure contractors comply with all requirements, conditions, and obligations specified under the prime contracts.
  • Monitor contract performance and identify potential contractual risks, deviations, or disputes.
  • Coordinate with project, procurement, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure effective contract implementation.
  • Manage contract correspondence, notices, claims, variations, extensions of time, and contractual documentation.
  • Ensure proper administration of contracts through an auditable and transparent process.
  • Support project management in commercial negotiations and contract-related decision-making.
  • Maintain records of contractual commitments, deliverables, milestones, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in dispute avoidance and resolution through proactive contract management practices.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and project governance standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 12 to 15 years of experience in contract management, contract administration, or commercial management.
  • Experience in beneficiation plants, mining projects, steel plants, industrial construction, power, or large infrastructure projects will be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of EPC/EPCM contracts, subcontract management, claims management, and contract risk mitigation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in contract interpretation and project commercial controls.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple contractor interfaces.
