Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support Construction Management Services for a large industrial project in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. The role involves supervision and coordination of erection activities for static and rotary equipment in material handling facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise erection, assembly, alignment, and installation of static and rotary equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors, mills, feeders, and thickeners.
- Monitor construction quality, safety, productivity, and progress at site.
- Review drawings, erection methodologies, lifting plans, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams.
- Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and construction standards.
- Track contractor performance, progress, and resource utilization.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 8-12 years of experience in material handling plants, steel plants, mining, or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of equipment erection, heavy lifting, alignment, welding, and construction practices.
- Experience in contractor management, site execution, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with AutoCAD and project execution tools
