Purpose & Scope of Position

To support the implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) systems at the project site by assisting in inspections, documentation, testing activities, audit compliance, and quality reporting. The role involves ensuring that construction, erection, and commissioning activities are executed in compliance with approved specifications, procedures, codes, standards, and project quality requirements.

Experience

2-5 years of experience in QA/QC, inspection, testing, quality documentation or quality assurance activities.Exposure to Thermal Power Plants, EPC Projects, Industrial Projects, Power Infrastructure, Hydro or PSP Projects preferred.Understanding of quality inspection procedures, material testing requirements and construction quality controls.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior QA/QC professionals in the implementation of the Project Quality Management System and quality assurance processes.
  • Participate in inspection and testing activities for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and C&I works associated with thermal power plant construction.
  • Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, quality procedures, method statements and technical specifications.
  • Support site inspections, witness tests, material verification, dimensional checks and quality surveillance activities.
  • Maintain quality records including inspection reports, test certificates, checklists, NCRs, punch points and audit observations.
  • Assist in identification, reporting and tracking of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with construction, engineering, commissioning, contractors and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Support internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable project specifications, IS codes, IEC/ASME standards and client quality requirements.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly quality reports and contribute to project quality MIS.
  • Assist in punch list management and quality clearance activities during pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.                                                                                                        The project Location will be Raipur, Raigarh, Korba, Mirzapur, Anuppur, Chapar, Pripanti, Kawai
