Key Responsibilities
Position: Safety Engineer
Location: Dahej, Gujarat
Experience: 8-12 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Any Discipline) with ADIS/PDIS Certification (State Government Recognized) - Mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation of HSE standards and safety procedures at project sites.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and statutory compliance documentation.
- Promote a strong safety culture across project teams.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in EHS/Safety management for industrial projects.
- Mandatory ADIS/PDIS certification from a recognized State Government institution.
- Experience in chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or process plant projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of statutory safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk management.
- Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
