About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Survey Engineer to support the execution of a large-scale Beneficiation Plant project in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out topographical surveys, construction layout activities, quantity verification, and ensuring accurate surveying data for project execution and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct topographical, contour, route, and as-built surveys for project activities.
- Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference coordinates.
- Perform site layout and setting-out activities for civil, structural, and infrastructure works.
- Verify alignment, levels, coordinates, and dimensions as per approved drawings.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants for survey-related requirements.
- Prepare survey reports, drawings, maps, and measurement records.
- Ensure accuracy of survey data using Total Station, DGPS, Auto Level, and other surveying instruments.
- Monitor construction progress and provide survey support during execution.
- Carry out quantity verification and support billing measurements when required.
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration and functioning.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of engineering surveying principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with Total Station, DGPS, Auto Level, and related survey instruments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and survey data processing software.
- Understanding of construction drawings, layouts, and coordinate systems.
- Ability to prepare survey documentation and technical reports.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a project site environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in industrial projects, beneficiation plants, mining projects, steel plants, power plants, or large infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to site development, earthwork, grading, and civil construction activities.
- Experience working in EPC/PMC project environments will be preferred.
